Seeking People with Slides errr Slides with People

Thanks for asking. This project will rely heavily upon the site visitors to supply us with batches of slides. Everyone ends up at a tag sale, antique shop, or cleaning out some relatives basement and these are prime hunting grounds for new media. We'd love to hear about the boxes of slides you uncover. We're exclusively looking for larger lots of slides from the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's. If you have a large box of slides from these decades and are willing to part with them, please contact us.

We are not in a position to buy your slides but if you contact us with a description of what you have we'd consider reimbursing your shipping costs. We will not return any slides that are sent to us so please keep that in mind when deciding to contact us about that cool image of your grandmother wrestling an alligator. We will however list your name and/or link on the pages where we choose to use your images.

We'll that's a generous thought and we thank you for considering us. If you enjoy the project and simply want to toss us a dollar or two, you may do so via Paypal. Your donations will be spent on paying for the shipping of slides that people send us....and maybe some beer to enjoy while scanning. If the funds start to build up, we'll plan on actively seeking out slides via ebay auctions and other channels.
